2. Climbing the Sydney Bridge
Climbing a bridge was never a bucket list activity for me but after so many people said that this was a must in Sydney, we signed on up. Once I was actually there I realized what climbing a bridge actually entailed. Just doing the training obstacle course got my tummy in knots. Our instructors were so sweet and made us feel so safe that we knew we were in good hands. After successfully doing the climb and seeing Sydney from up above I can say this is a must.
6. the 12 Apostles at Sunset
After the mesmerizing drive along the Great Ocean Road hunker down and get ready for an amazing view. Come during sunrise or sunset where the limestone cliffs change colors. While it was cloudy when we arrived the sunset was still breathtaking so it only gets better from there.
7. Wine Tasting in the Yarra Valley
Is there anything classier than going wine tasting on vaca? Yeah no. This is a great way to booze it up while also getting to learn about the varied Australian landscape.
Tip: Never drink and drive, hop on a tour and sit back and relax.
9. Taking a ride on Puffing Billy
Riding Australia’s oldest steam train is undoubtedly the silliest and most childish thing on this list, yet we loved it. Having your feet dangle outside of a train car while whizzing through lush Australian woods is well, just fun. Remember to not wear flip flops or you’ll risk losing a shoe or two.
