Pietro Nolita is Pink As F%$k | New York City

Nolita’s hottest spot this summer is a little pink bistro name Pitero Noliota. I am sure you’ve seen the pink 50’s art deco spot splattered all across social media and screen shot the hell out of it.  I myself have about a million screenshots in my phone reminding me to check it out.

So is Pietro Nolita worth the hype ?

The whole restaurant is well pink and very instagrammable which is no surprise as the owner has strong fashion ties. Pietro Quaglia, who also has ties to the yummy Miss Lily’s, runs in the fashion crowd and used to work at Dolce and Gabbana. He created Pietro Nolita a spot that pays homage to 50’s style diners while providing yummy healthier Italian eats. No surprise he created a space that had everyone and there grandmother running to come check it out. So yes this place is pink as f$%k and well insanely cool.

But if you think Pietro Nolita is only about aesthetics you’d be wrong.

The food is down right delicious. PERIOD.  In fact the only words spoken while six girls ate was wow this shit is good. We all couldn’t stop gushing about just how yummy everything was. While the decor may grab people in the food is what will keep them coming back. You would be a fool to not stop in and try some of there cocktails or dishes. We got a mix of brunch ( scrambled eggs with green pesto, potatoes and parmigiano) and lunch ( Basil, pine nut, and parmigiano reggiano pesto with ricotta di capra) and wow.

The portions perfect and the food was light while being satisfying.

While I was eating I saw some girls giggling and taking photos outside and it dawned on me how much they were missing. So here it is; Pietro Nolita is worth the hype. Not because it’s cute and pink but because well they are a restaurant and there food is the bomb. So get your ass down there and see for yourself just home yummy this place is.

But ya know you can still be basic and take plenty of pics 😉

This place looks so cool and quirky! Do you know if there was anything gluten free/vegan on the menu? I’d love to try it out if there is.

Pink walls, healthy Italian and curse words? I may live on the other side of the country but this is my type of place!

Your title made me chuckle, but then I realized it’s actually the slogan for the restaurant! I definitely want to go there and would love to see what is on their menu. Any place that uses curse words in their branding is a place for me!

Glad that there is more than just the look to the place. I think my daughter would love all the pink. But I think that would be just a bit too much pink for me. Always up for trying new food spots though.
